Every child has unique strengths and qualities that shape who they are.
Some kids are natural leaders, while others bring warmth, creativity, humour, or problem-solving skills to the family.
When we take time to recognise and celebrate these strengths, we help our children build confidence, self-worth, and a sense of belonging.
Recognising strengths doesn’t have to be complicated. It can be as simple as saying,
"I love the way you help your little brother when he’s upset,"
or
"You have such a creative mind - I love seeing your ideas come to life."
These small affirmations build an internal foundation of self-belief that will support them throughout life.
